Our client is a leading independent financial advisory firm specializing in Infrastructure, Transport & Utilities, Renewable Energy, and Mining & Metals. With a team of experienced professionals from top global investment banks, they deliver innovative solutions across M&A, project finance, capital raising, and strategic advisory.

To support their growing deal pipeline, they are seeking a high-calibre Associate to contribute to transaction execution, financial modeling, and client engagement across these critical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deal origination, execution, and management across infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for acquisitions, financings, divestments, and operational updates.
• Provide analysis and advice on project development, deal structuring, funding strategies (debt/equity), and transaction negotiations.
• Prepare client presentations, investment case papers, financing documentation, and marketing materials.
• Assist in managing due diligence processes, dataroom setup, and Q&A coordination with financiers and clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Project Finance.
• Exposure to Infrastructure, Utilities, Renewable Energy, or Mining sectors is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong financial modeling skills (candidates will undertake a modeling test and will be asked technical questions about financial modelling as part of the process).
• Experience across transaction workstreams including investment case analysis, due diligence, and capital raising.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, clients, and advisors.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
