Established since 2020
2020
Capital Executive Search ('CES') is founded by Mischa Bennett, a recruitment industry veteran since 2007. After a career at both global and local boutiques, and with a history of being ranked consistently as one of the top billers, Mischa made a strategic move to establish a new firm in the market built around his unique recruitment model.
2021
Despite the economic slowdown from the COVID-19 pandemic, CES achieves $1M+ in revenue in it's second year of business. There-opening of NSW and VIC in late 2021 prove to be a catalyst in its sustained growth into 2022.
2022
CES makes its first addition to the team, with Gabrielle Percic joining from Macquarie's Private Bank. Pivoting from a fast-tracked path to a private banking career, Gabrielle joined CES with the vision of leveraging her industry experience to help build a world-class recruitment firm.
2023
CES continues on its growth trajectory, expanding its client base, coverage areas and adding its third team member, Rob Hoyles, who joins following the successful sale of the freight business he founded to a multinational corporate in the logistics industry.
2024
CES’s continual growth sees the addition two members, Patrick Hogan specializing in Private Credit Risk and Institutional Banking and Keytan Hislop in Risk and Compliance and Actuary and Analytics.

Mischa founded Capital Executive Search in 2020 after a 15-year long career in recruitment at both global and boutique executive search firms.
Beginning at Robert Half, Mischa eventually oversaw the firm's permanent recruitment operations in Sydney. From there, he joined a boutique executive search firm in 2011 as the practice lead for funds management and infrastructure before founding CES.
At CES, his principal focus areas are Infrastructure, Energy Transition, Equities and Multi-Asset Funds.
Mischa holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Technology Sydney.
Gabrielle started her career at Macquarie's Private Bank as a Senior Associate, before pivoting to recruitment with CES to cover Distribution, ESG/Responsible Investment, Fixed Income, Asset Consulting and Wealth Management.
Prior to this, Gabrielle was an athlete for Artistic Swimming Australia, competing in international level meets in New Zealand, Fiji, Hong Kong, Italy and Russia.
Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Economics) from the University of Western Australia, a WSET Level 1 Wine Certification and is currently completing her CFA (Level 1).
Pat joined CES from Robert Walters in Sydney, where he worked on the Commercial/Institutional Banking and Private Credit Risk. There, he worked with domestic and international banks and private credit institutions, filling roles across a variety of disciplines.
Pat is the practice lead for Debt, including Credit Analysis, Debt Coverage, DCM, FIG / NBFI, Project Finance, Private Credit, Syndication/Sponsor Coverage, Distressed Debt, Structured and Leveraged Finance roles.
Our new starter Keytan, joins CES with over 6 years experience working in Risk, Compliance & Actuarial recruitment across Australia. Prior to CES, Keytan was a Hays recruitment Manager, recruiting across Actuarial and Risk Management. His functional expertise includes roles across operational, credit, market, enterprise risk, compliance and financial crime in addition to all lines of actuarial and analytics functions.
Keytan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (HR & Marketing) from the University of Wollongong).
