Associate

Private Credit

Investment Analysis & Deal Execution:

  • Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence for potential investments in private equity, venture capital, and credit markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and pitch materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support deal structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions, working closely with senior leadership.

Market Research & Opportunity Sourcing:

  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify investment opportunities across various sectors in Australia and Southeast Asia.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging markets, and regulatory changes to help inform investment decisions.
  • Develop relationships with potential portfolio companies, investors, and industry experts.

Portfolio Management & Reporting:

  • Assist in the ongoing management and monitoring of portfolio companies, including performance tracking and operational improvements.
  • Prepare quarterly reports and updates for investors, detailing fund performance, key metrics, and strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to support business growth and exit strategies.

Client & Investor Relations:

  • Support senior team members in managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing analytical support and helping address client inquiries.
  • Assist with capital raising efforts, including preparing materials for fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus but not required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a similar financial services role.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with experience in transaction execution.
  • Experience in conducting due diligence and valuation analyses across various sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
  • Familiarity with research databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) and market analysis tools.
